Online fashion retailer Zozo Inc. launched a successor to its ‘Zozosuit’ body-measuring suit, with improved accuracy of design and software change.
The original development, which was a polka-dot Zozosuit, which when scanned via smartphone allowed users to upload their measurements, created a huge interest in the market but failed due to poor sizing issue.
The new ‘Zozosuit 2’ has 50 times more markers and delivers higher resolution scans required for size recommendation for sportswear and underwear.
The retailer mentioned that it is looking for partners and hopes to offer the suit within a year.
Furthermore, the company is also a distributor of ‘Zozomat’, a technology used for the feet measurement used for customised sizing recommendations.
