Saurer, a leading embroidery solution provider, is exhibiting Epoca 7 shuttle embroidery machine, an intelligent automation technology, at ITMA 2019. The new solution offers wide range of customisation options for the customers.
The novelty encapsulated with CAD/CAM and a latest mill management helps the customers with an increased productivity of up to 25 per cent. The machines are capable of working with an increased speed of up to 700 rpm.
The cost effective solution lets the users save extra cost that is otherwise spent on the energy usage as it consumes less than 5 per cent energy compared to its previous model. It consumes same amount of energy even when the speed is increased by 18 per cent.
The machine setting time is also reduced because of its all new automatic rear carriage adjustment. The width of these rear carriage can be automatically set according to the properties of the yarn, which assists in substantial reduction in yarn breakage.
Also, the machine features an intelligent thread watcher, SmartMon, that helps in the fast and careful identification of any yarn breakage on shuttle and the needle side. This features prevents any thread breakage, thus reducing the mending costs by 70 per cent. The new overhead Cleanguard continuously cleans any dust pollutants that would otherwise cause the early wear of the moving parts.
The HeadLine system consists of sequin, cord and the new LaserHead can help create many different designs with ease. Moreover, the laser technology also helps in precise cutting of synthetic and natural fabrics.
Other features include EmStudio that helps in defining a well-organised workflow from sketch to production. It serves as an overall solution for designing, punching, visualisation of designs, product optimisation and productivity analysis. Moreover, the stitch quality can be easily determined and maintained with the help of an intelligent stitch editor iSed.
Furthermore, the machine has a new feature that can control and analyse the production and machine data to create transparency and optimise the production process. This gives better profitability and efficiency to the users.
