Italian leader in cutting technology Morgan Tecnica has all the technologies and solutions for cutting room optimization in its kitty and to increase its presence more in a lucrative country like Bangladesh, the company showed up first time at the 17th edition of Dhaka Int’l Textile & Garment Machinery Exhibition (DTG) last month, though Morgan is not a new name for other big exhibitions happening in the country.

“We participated in DTG for the first time and it looked promising as the kind of feedback we got from this exhibition especially post-election is encouraging.” – Prakhar Singh, Country Manager (India and Bangladesh), GA Morgan Dynamics (Asian subsidiary of Morgan Tecnica)

The technology giant was up in the exhibition to explain visitors the cutting edge technology built in its its trademark automatic cutter Next 2. High ply cutter Next 2 has been designed to meet the demands of the market for a robust, precise, fast, versatile machine with low running costs. The control of all functions by latest digital technology allows top speed, precision and reliability, together with low power consumption. An automatic system is equipped to digitally control in real time as well as the knife bending guarantees the maximum cutting precision. Most importantly, the cutter achieves Zero Buffer something which is very much required in the cutters in today’s time of cost competitiveness.

“In my opinion, not many companies are able to achieve Zero Buffer but Morgan is exception as for us, zero gap between cut pieces is priority.” – Prakhar Singh, Country Manager (India and Bangladesh), GA Morgan Dynamics (Asian subsidiary of Morgan Tecnica)

Prakhar further explained that there are many instances where zero buffer is hard to achieve for other cutters but Morgan, with all technical expertise, is achieveing zero gaps in the cut pieces. “Lower plies can still achieve zero buffer and other cutters can do this but when it comes to cut higher number of plies and still you achieve zero buffer, then it becomes more profitable which is what exactly is our strength,”boasted Prakhar elaborating that real technology is when one achieves zero buffer on high speed like 4-4.5 perimeter per minute.

It may be mentioned here that big names in Bangladesh’s apparel manufacturing industry such as Fakir Fashion and Mondol are using Morgan’s cutter and achieveing zero wastage in their cutting rooms.
