Jeanologia is partnering with International universities and bodies to train young people that could assist in the development of a more sustainable and transparent textile industry.
The company is working on a model that includes training and practice, which addresses the emerging needs and profiles required for digitalisation and transformation of textile industry.
Master classes, talks, sustainable finishing training, collaboration with capsule collection, talent rewarding, teaching on digital transformation strategies, on sustainable design and on circular economy are some of the planned actions to be conducted in centres across the globe.
Parsons Art and Design School, The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, Ravensbourne University in London, Fashion Design School in Singapore, National Textile University in Pakistan, I-Skool Denim and Jeans School in Amsterdam are few of the colleges that Jeanologia has collaborated with.
“The textile industry is one of the most contaminating ones on the planet and our objective is to end this evil. The new generations are driving the change and will be the leaders in finding the environmental solutions of the future, that’s why it is vital to support their training so that they can transfer that commitment and that new business culture,” said Carmen Silla, Marketing Manager, Jeanologia.
Carmen further added “At Jeanologia, we know how to do that! We’ve spent many years demonstrating that a new way of producing is possible; completely technological, efficient, ethical and sustainable. That’s why we are continuously increasing our commitment to the development of a more sustainable future.”
Jeanologia, understanding the need for the new job profiles, started ‘The School’ in 2013, a training giant that gave designers the opportunity to acquire skills and knowledge necessary in design for textile laser, textile production techniques, sustainable design and denim production.
The firm also offers full service to its customers as the selected students have an opportunity of 4 months training following which they are in all probability hired by these customers.
The 10th edition of the programme with 80 per cent employability rate has already got participation from over 50 young people across 5 continents.
