Lectra’s, a pioneer in providing tech solutions to industries including fashion and textiles, is supporting fashion retailer Baroque Japan Ltd. with its Fashion PLM, to bring the latter’s design, product development and production teams on a single platform.
Hirofumi Yamazaki, Senior Managing Director, Baroque said that Lectra’s PLM is designed for fashion and it doesn’t require any additional customisation.
Markedly, Baroque operates 18 fashion brands across Japan, Hong Kong, China and the US that include MOUSSY, SLY, Rodeo Crowns and ENFOLD. The company has installed Lectra’s PLM technology for 9 out of its 18 brands.
The company aims to deploy Lectra’s technology in all of its 18 brands in the time to come.
The latest addition from Lectra will also enhance the production speed of the Japanese retailer, as now they can share product information and data straight from their headquarters in Tokyo, with its overseas teams on a single platform, which was not the case earlier that used to cause loss of time and errors.
With Lectra’s technology on board, the fashion company will be able to manage the processes in real time for the better workflow.
Markedly, Lectra Fashion PLM streamlines each step of the assortment development cycle by enabling collaboration and control from the planning stage to creation to pre-production, and thereby accelerates the entire development process.
Additionally, Baroque also plans to use Lectra Fashion PLM’s Line Planning Module in a bid to integrate certain operations of its online shop into the process.
