Archroma to help Pakistan textile industry face challenges in global market

Archroma, the leading colour and speciality chemical manufacturer, has partnered with Pakistan’s University of Engineering and Technology (UET), to help the country’s textile industry develop innovative yet futuristic products.

Notably, the signing of the MoU took place at a ceremony held recently in Faisalabad. Prof. Dr.Fazal Ahmed Khalid, VC, UET and Mujtaba Rahim, CEO, Archroma Pakistan Ltd. inked the deal on behalf of their respective organisations.

Under the 5-year MoU, both the involved parties will conduct in-house training, research on innovative textile applications and process innovative methodologies by pioneering value-addition, to help the students prepare for the challenges in the textile industry.

Additionally, Archroma aims to share its expertise and innovative textile solutions to help Pakistan remain competitive in the global market. “This partnership is going to have far-reaching impact in textile research which will bear highly positive results for UET and Archroma,” said Prof. Dr. Fazal Ahmed Khalid.
