Innovative solutions provider for the apparel industry, Bemis Associates will be showcasing its Sewfree Bonded collection, at the ongoing Winter Outdoor Retailer 2016, in Salt Lake City.
Bemis Associates has been involved in developing and designing for top global technical, performance, lifestyle, and luxury brands. The new Rapid Reaction and High Visibility Sewfree Bonded collection by Bemis will enable brands to construct aesthetic and functional garments with a higher calibre of stretch, breathability, and visibility. “Bemis has a laser focus on helping designers improve their garments’ aesthetic and marginalize the limitations of cut and sew techniques through our innovative Sewfree bonding solutions. The Rapid Reaction and High Visibility Collections enable designers to incorporate subtle details that provide performance into almost any garment that differentiate a brand,” said Steve Howard, Chief Executive Officer of Bemis Worldwide.

The Rapid Reaction collection reacts to athletes’ personal body climate without limiting their movement, by activating functionality within the garment. DriSeam, used in this collection, is the latest generation of Seam Reinforcement Tape (SRT) by Bemis which helps repel water and wicks away moisture, keeping the athlete cool and dry. FlowFlex is another technology used in the Rapid Reaction Sewfree Bonded collection, which is a lightweight, stretchable overlay film engineered specifically for performance fabric. It results in a breathable yet aesthetically appealing outcome.
The High Visibility Collection uses Chromaflex Film, which adds high visibility and creates dynamic colour shifts as a garment moves, by bending. Chromaflex can be vibrantly used by designers in creating a killer light-diffracting accent or in details and trims.
