Tukatech, Inc. has come up with new offerings for the fashion industry to begin the New Year in style.
The company’s subscription and web-based services’ portal TUKAweb has made new updates to the website that includes the switch from software subscription model to a convenient monthly auto-renewal model.
With this new system in place, the need of paying for monthly use in advance is no longer there as TUKAweb subscribers will now be billed automatically until they cancel. This will ensure uninterrupted software access to the subscribers and continued flexibility for any duration needed to use the software.
Apart from this, the new subscribers will also be able to try any software package at no cost for a period of 30 days, and receive access to self-paced online software training courses via the Tuka Academy of Pattern Engineering (TAPE).
According to Tukatech, the new subscription model is available for all TUKAcad packages – including TUKA APM for automatic pattern making – and the TUKA3D Designer Edition software.
Existing subscribers will finish out any time they have paid for under the previous model, and then automatically transition to the auto-renewal model when they re-subscribe.
Commenting on the offerings, Chris Walia, Chief Operations Officer of Tukatech, said that those who have switched from physical software keys or dongles in fashion businesses, prefer the cloud-based license subscription, the popularity of which has particularly been rising during pandemic as many industry professionals have been working remotely.
“We see a daily increase in the new subscriptions of TUKAcad and TUKA3D DE Visualizer. Software subscriptions in the apparel industry will be the norm, even after the pandemic,” shared Chris.
Ram Sareen, Founder and Chairman of TUKAgroup believes the software subscription model is the only way for the fashion technology sector to move forward as this model would reduce the bottlenecks for the new entrants, while giving them an access to technology to reduce product development time.
Citing reasons for the 30-day free software trial, Ram Sareen explained, “We wanted to give a special gift to the industry in 2021 and help them in learning digital solutions with little or no expenses from their end.”
