Shima Seiki Mfg., Ltd. – a leading Japanese computerised knitting machine manufacturer – has announced to participate in India ITME 2022 exhibition to be held from 8-13 December 2022 in Greater Noida.
During the six-day technology event, Shima Seiki plans to show the latest sustainable solutions that can keep up with the growth that Indian textile industry has been witnessing in domestic and export markets.
The knitting technology bigwig will exhibit proposals in seam-free WHOLEGARMENT® knitting technology that offers an alternative to labour-intensive manufacturing in India and other international markets.
The company will feature its MACH2®XS WHOLEGARMENT® knitting machine with original SlideNeedle™ on four needle beds and spring-loaded moveable sinker system supporting a wide range of high-quality WHOLEGARMENT® knitting in all needles.
Meanwhile The N.SVR®123SP computerised knitting machine at India ITME will feature the special i-Plating® option, capable of alternating yarn colours in any pattern, producing jacquard-like designs using plain jersey stitch for even greater diversity in knit design.
Demonstrations will be performed on Shima Seiki’s SDS®-ONE APEX4 design system. At the core of the company’s ‘Total Fashion System’ concept, SDS®-ONE APEX4 provides comprehensive support throughout the production supply chain, integrating production into one smooth and efficient workflow from yarn development, product planning and design, to machine programming, production and even sales promotion.
Other major highlights during the event will be the display of APEXFiz® software that maintains the proven functions that have made SDS®-ONE APEX series design systems so popular with fashion designers.
