Navis TubeTex, a US-based global leader in finishing machinery for the textile industry, has announced its strategic collaboration with German textile machinery bigwig Thies GmbH & Co. KG in order to meet evolving customer needs.
This collaboration is said to facilitate the ability to offer holistic, custom solutions for fabric dyeing and finishing in Canada, the USA and Honduras.
It’s worth mentioning here that, with a combined existence of over two hundred years, both companies share the tradition of serving the customers and addressing their pain-points in an effective manner through their breakthrough technologies, while looking at the future.
Going forward, Navis TubeTex will collaborate with Thies on an agency basis to sell Thies dyeing machines, chemical dispensing units and heat recovery systems in Honduras, Canada and the US, as mentioned above.
Commenting on the development, Will Motchar, Navis TubeTex President and CEO, said, “Having the ability to sell Thies’ line-up of machinery will enhance our customers’ abilities to add value, save money through automation and reduce environmental impacts from manufacturing. We’re being asked routinely how our technologies can help meet financial and environmental goals, and Thies helps strengthen our ability to respond.”
Based in Lexington, NC and founded in 1929, Navis TubeTex offers a diverse range of machines for tubular and open-width textile finishing. The addition of Thies machines broadens its offering to include yarn and fabric dyeing.
Verena Thies, CEO, Thies, stated, “We’re excited to have such an established company representing us. As a fifth-generation owner-managed company, we understand the importance of strategic alliances and long-term vision. Navis TubeTex is the perfect pathway to engage with customers for custom solutions in eco-friendly innovation, digitisation and automation.”
Thies GmbH & Co. began production in 1892 in Coesfeld, Germany where production is ongoing. Thies Corp. in Rock Hill, SC is a wholly-owned subsidiary.
