FK Group Spa, leading Italian cutting solution provider for the fashion and textile industry, has said that it is now offering a new premium line of “Tukatech Cutters” to the global apparel industry.
Manufactured by the Italian giant, these cutters are commercially available with both FK Group and Tukatech (USA).
The cutters use Tukatech’s proprietary TUKAcut software module and high-speed processors unique to Tukatech Cutters for non-stop cutting.
It’s worth mentioning here that both the companies have been in collaboration since 1995 and it was 2017 when Tukatech customised the FK hardware platform for developing their own premium level machines. “These have been running with spectacular performances,” commented Sergio Gori, CEO, FK Group.
Sergio further highlighted that this allows the calculation of millions of instructions to analyse cut path and sequencing that produces an average of 16.80 per cent higher productivity than most cutters.
Additionally, a copyrighted feature called Safe Start Point, allows users to cut achieving zero buffer between the pattern pieces, which saves material while maintaining excellent cut quality.
“I’m glad to announce the strengthening of our 25-year relationship with Tukatech to provide powerful equipment to apparel manufacturers around the world. They can choose between an amazing line of exclusive FK Cutters, or upgrade to the high-performing Tukatech Cutter,” added Sergio.
Los Angeles Apparel has been among the first factories to install four Tukatech cutters and its founder Dov Charney complimented, “These cutters supersede Industry 4.0 standards with faster, more precise and higher-quality cutting.”
“We are truly a solutions provider. We train the cutting machine operators to maintain their own machines, provide a package of all spare parts including all consumables so the manufacturers can stay operational without expensive support agreements,” shared Ram Sareen, Founder and CEO of Tukatech.
