X-Rite Incorporation and Pantone LLC, global leaders in colour science and technology, revealed that Ergosoft 16, a leading RIP software, now supports the new i1Pro 3 family of colour management solution.
The new combination will help the digital printers increase production workflow efficiency by swiftly implementing colour standards across a variety of materials including textiles.
The digital printers can create ICC profile for almost any substrate and calibrate print production device for the highest level of colour accuracy.
“Ergosoft is confident that the combination of Ergosoft 16 and the i1Pro 3 enables operators to realise the full potential of Ergosoft 16 in terms of colour control and colour accuracy,” said Anna Tobler, CEO of Ergosoft.
Ergosoft 16 makes the basic features of the RIP software more intuitive and the advanced ones more accessible. Moreover, it is a complete production and workflow suite making the RIP software more efficient and productive.
The i1Pro 3 family of colour management solution helps in achieving the accurate colour from the printer, display and projectors. The results are more accurate, reliable and double the speed compared to the predecessor.
The technology is designed to simultaneously measure M0, M1 and M2 in a single pass while accounting for optical brighteners. The i1Pro 3 Plus has a larger aperture of 8 mm that supports any new material and substrate being used in digital printing application.
Both the solutions i1Pro 3 and i1Pro 3 Plus have application in automated measurement workflow with addition of i1iO3.
