Shima Seiki, leading computerized knitting machine manufacturer based in Japan, will be exhibiting its latest technology solutions at the 16th Dhaka International Textile and Machinery Exhibition (DTG 2019) in association with its partner Pacific Association Ltd. operating in Bangladesh since 1996.
The Japanese provider will be displaying its latest solutions in order to meet the current needs of the Bangladeshi market as well as advanced solutions for future market needs.
On display will be its WHOLEGARMENT knitting technology solutions SWG061N2. The SWGN2 series is a compact entry level machine for the companies looking for better way to provide options to the customers. The on-demand knitting capabilities in conjunction with the flexibility of SWGN2, produces different variety of items including gloves, socks, leggings, hat, mufflers as well as kidswear. Also, Shima Seiki will be exhibiting MACH2X and MACH2S that offers the flexibility of producing WHOLEGARMENT knitwear in all needles.
Likewise cutting-edge machines like SVR123SP and SVR093SP will also be on display. The machine inherits the company’s tried and tested technology such as the patented Digital Stitch Control System (DSCS), SpringType Sinker system, stitch presser, yarn gripper and cutter and Takedown comb. The machine represents the Made in Japan quality, reliability, productivity, user friendliness and cost performance meeting the high expectations of the world’s fashion industry.
Moreover, the SVR123SP that will be showcased at DTG features new iplating option, capable of alternating the yarn colors in any pattern, producing jacquard like designs using plain jersey stitch.
The SDS-ONE APEX3 3D design system, company’s “Total Fashion System” concept will he another core area of attraction of the booth. The state-of-the-art solution integrates all stages of apparel production into one smooth and efficient work flow through the comprehensive support from planning and design to production and sales promotion. The machine has capabilities of Virtual Sampling that eliminates the time and cost involved in the sample making process.
Along with the APEX3 3D design system, Shima’s knit PLM software for the knitting industry will also be demonstrated at the event. It offers production planning, control, remote monitoring of the machine status at multiple factory locations.
It is worth mentioning that along with variety of technology solutions, Shima Seiki will be demonstrating P-CAM series a computerized cutting machines and a prototype version of P-SPR2 fabric spreading machine as part of Shima Cutting Solutions.
