SupplyCompass, the UK-based production management platform for responsible brands looking to find and work with the best international brand, has secured funding worth GBP 1.5 million (US $ 1.8 million) from Episode 1, a venture capital investor.
As per the company, the fund will be utilised for the technology development, and expansion of its curated marketplace of best-in-class international manufacturer.
SupplyCompass focuses on the starting steps of sourcing with maximum hold on sustainability including manufacturer matching, design development and sampling.

Our vision is to become the leading sourcing software for the pioneering fashion and interiors businesses of the future, and this funding from investors Episode 1 will help us to do just that,” said Gus Bartholomew, SupplyCompass CEO and Co-Founder.
“Current sourcing methods aren’t fit for brands of the future; they’re offline, inefficient and fragmented,” further explained Bartholomew.
SupplyCompass helps the brands in meeting the right manufacturers, thus helping to ease out the buying process for them. The technology has a central online hub that has all the tools for production while ensuring a better transparency and integrity within the garment supply chain.
