TUKAgroup has announced the promotion of Martin Bailey as the President of their TUKAweb division. Bailey will be responsible for leading the fastest growing division in terms of consulting, implementation, manufacturing and other services.

Bailey, a 1984 graduate of Campbellsville College in Campbellsvile, KY holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Accounting. He began his apparel and textile career at the Fruit of the Loom, in 1984. In his final role at Fruit of the Loom, Bailey was responsible for the leadership of Global Product Development, Quality Assurance, Process Engineering and Cap Ex Management for the company. He spent almost fifteen years with the Fruit of the Loom and created foundation for his ability to affect change and growth for other companies in the future.
In 1988, Bailey worked as Senior Vice President at A&G Inc. and was responsible for eleven sewing facilities in the US and Mexico. He also used to handle the production planning, plant layouts, pull demand team layouts and new product implementation. In addition to this he also oversaw the start-up of three sewing facilities in Tijuana, Mexico.
In 2002,he joined American Apparel, Inc. as the Chief Operating Officer. With time he was designated as President – Manufacturing, but held various additional responsibilities as the company developed.
