Jinfa Labi, a leading maternity and infant clothing company in China, has deployed Lectra Fashion PLM 4.0 software.
According to Jinfa, the Chinese parents are more inclined towards the use of maternity and baby products as these are more customised and sophisticated in terms of design and material.
“To meet these new market needs, we have chosen to implement Lectra Fashion PLM 4.0 after researching on all PLM vendors in the market,” states the company.
The PLM solution will enable Jinfa to enhance its product development process by digitizing entire supply chain right from design to production.
Additionally, Lectra Fashion PLM 4.0 will also provide the extra speed and agility that Jinfa needs to tackle the challenges of Industry 4.0.
The solution also ensures a consistent flow of error-free data between process, technology and people. Therefore, Jinfa will be able to adapt different business models quickly and keep pace with the latest trends.
Lin Ruowen, General Manager, Jinfa Labi, commented, “Lectra’s latest PLM solution connects CAD, industry-standard software, IT systems and external suppliers together, allowing us to fully digitise our supply chain by covering all production stages. We can then focus on improving our core competencies.”
Furthermore, Jinfa also aims to show strong progress in adopting the Government’s initiative “Made in China 2025” by embracing digitalisation.
“Lectra will help Jinfa Labi make their mark for “Made in China 2025” as this Industry 4.0-based initiative will not only revolutionize the way in which manufacturers operate but also change the way in which the brands and retailers run their businesses,” avers Andreas A. Kim, MD, Lectra, Greater China.
