    Recent UN recognition of the ancient Indian practice of yoga by proclaiming June 21 as International Day of Yoga has led to yogawear gaining popularity globally. The growth rate of people practising yoga increased three times in the past 4 years. Covid-19 pandemic has forced many of us stay home, and in order to overcome stress, anxiety and depression, many people – both men and women, have added meditation and yoga to their lockdown routine. The healthcare industry has fuelled the growing interest in yoga and it is now being used for both physical and mental disorders as a therapy. Giving push to the yogawear industry, women yogawear generated revenue of US $ 20.7 billion in 2018, while children’s segment is likely to register the fastest CAGR of 7.5% from 2019 to 2025.
