Sustainability and transparency are interrelated and have direct or indirect relation at the local as well as global levels. As the Indian apparel exports dwindle, placements from the fashion technology institutes too are feeling the heat. Apparel Online approached some institutes for their comments on present placement scenario, only a few of them showed interest and shared news. Also read that Indian lingerie market is seeing unprecedented growth and has undergone a transformational change in the past few years due to various factors. The segment which stood at around US $ 3 billion in 2017 is projected to grow at a CAGR of around 14 per cent to reach US $ 6.5 billion by 2023.

With Narendra Modi-led NDA set to form the new Government for the second term in running, the industry is euphoric over the same and hoping for huge political and economic support.
