Breaking all records of campus placement, Bangladesh-based Noize Jeans has hired 31 Indian students of DKTE Society’s Textile and Engineering Institute, Ichalkaranji.

The industry-informed people told Apparel Resources that this is the first time that such a huge number of Indian students have been hired for mid-level management positions by any overseas textile/apparel manufacturer.

Noize Jeans is working with top global brands like Zara, Mango, Jack & Jones, Only and many more. It is pertinent to mention here that the founders of the company, Manish and Anurag Chauhan, are both DKTE alumni. Manish himself visited the campus for placement.

Among the 31 students hired, there are 7 girls. Most of the hired students are from fashion technology and textile technology departments/courses, while few are from engineering courses.

The company has offered majority of them a package of approximately US $ 1,100 per month.

“Already few of our students are working in the company and they have performed consistently well. Our faculty has also visited the company and found that it has a very good working system. Though it is a little difficult for students to adjust initially, things become easy with time,” said Sanjay Akiwate, Training & Placement Officer, DKTE.
