India Couture Week 2018

The most anticipated fashion showcase in the Indian fashion industry, the India Couture Week, is set to mark its 11th edition this year.

The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) recently revealed the dates for the country’s most extravagant presentation of opulence and craft by talented Indian designers. The event is scheduled to take place from July 25th to 29th 2018 in New Delhi.

This year’s line-up includes designers Anju Modi, Pallavi Jaikishan, Rahul Mishra, Reynu Taandon, Rohit Bal, Shyamal & Bhumika, Suneet Varma, Tarun Tahiliani, and debutants Amit Aggarwal and Falguni & Shane. Interestingly, all these designers also make the list of the top 10 coveted couturiers in India, and are a force to reckon with globally in their scope of work and brand ethos.

The designers will present trends that would drive the future of the Indian bridal and couture industry in the seasons to come, in keeping with the taste and mannerisms of a country that loves to celebrate life with sheer abundance, colour, and unabashed glamour.

Presented by Hindustan Times and Sunil Sethi Design Alliance, the India Couture Week 2018 is backed by RK Jewellers, which is also the main presenting partner for the event this year.

“HindustanTimes is happy to be presenting the FDCI India Couture Week with Sunil Sethi Design Alliance. There is great resonance with our readers as far as fashion and lifestyle space is concerned, and such marquee events are a great platform to showcase Indian design talent before the world.” Rajeev Beotra, CEO HindustanTimes stated in a release.

The five day extravaganza will take place at the Taj Palace Hotel in the capital.
