Dion Lee opened Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia on Sunday night, and debuted a men’s capsule as part of his Resort 2018 collection, presented at the Opera House in Sydney.
A regular on the New York Fashion Week scene, established womenswear designer Lee showcased around 40 looks which featured his signature style: sleek, sporty, and tailored, but with an unmistakable Australian casualness that balanced between a somewhat Sydney-meets-New York vibe.

Silk tracksuits, cool shirting, terry-towelling sweaters and flowy dresses, paired with sandals made for a very summery line-up were presented. Femininity juxtaposed with sporty tailoring ensured a seamless transition into menswear with breezy pants, bomber jackets and turtleneck knits and suits.
The menswear capsule will remain positioned within his main line and will be sold across all Dion Lee boutiques and online, and in specific points-of-sale overseas.
