Swedish fast fashion chain H&M has tapped kids’ app series Toca Life for a collaborative kidswear capsule collection that highlights the quirky and joyous characters of the show.
To be launched today (8 August) on offline stores and online portals, the Toca Life x H&M capsule will comprise children’s clothing, accessories and footwear.
The range, designed by H&M’s Kids in-house team, will include styles such as jersey tops, sweatshirts, dresses and tracksuits along with shoes and accessories such as trainers, socks.
The styles are sporty and comfortable translated with details such as contrast racing stripes, drawstring waists and elasticated cuffs.
The characters are brought to life with aesthetics that include interactive prints and textures such as reversible sequins, foil prints and 3D applications. The capsule also bags extra point for sustainability as the cotton used in the merchandise is 100 per cent sustainably sourced. There will also be a select range of Toca Life characters made into soft toy bags.
Adding value to the launch, H&M’s loyalty programme called the H&M Member will be hosting a drawing competition for its members, enabling them to design a Toca Life character to be envisaged in the Toca Life: World app.
