Italian luxury fashion house Dolce & Gabbana has reportedly appointed Dan Rothmann as President and CEO for North America.
The fashion group operates through its subsidiaries in New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Sao Paulo. It has around 323 mono-brand stores globally.
If reports are to be believed then Rothmann has assumed his responsibility as President and CEO effective November 27. He has succeeded Tina Bhojwani, known for her association with the company and helping major fashion brands in developing global strategies.
In his new role, Rothmann will work to increase the sales and figures of the fashion brand. He will look at the retail as well as business prospects in the market.
Before becoming the President and CEO, Rothmann served as Vice President (Sales) of North America.
He was responsible for overseeing sales and business development in North America for Maison Martin Margiela, DSquared, Viktor & Rolf, Marc Jacobs Men’s Collection and Just Cavalli fashion labels, from 2004-10. He previously worked at Chloé as Brand President.
The news is yet to be confirmed as no official input has been received from Dolce & Gabbana.
