Boohoo.com, a British fashion e-tailer, has roped in American actor and singer Zendaya Coleman to curate an exclusive collection for its website. The edited assortment that the star has picked out from Boohoo’s Spring 2018 collection will be out for sale on March 21, 2018.
The 21-year-old Californian actor is one of the most powerful celebrity influencers for the high-street label’s target market and is particularly famous for being outspoken about body positivity issues. Talking about the target audience for this collection, Coleman says, “They are chic, fashion-forward and love clothes, but like most people, want to be able to ball on a budget. So I felt that this was a perfect fit!”
Called The Zendaya Edit, this is a huge 50-piece mixed bag of all-compassing styles like denim, body-conscious dresses, boldly coloured jumpsuits, bell bottoms, cardigans, etc.
The collection also features trendy athleisure pieces like slogan t-shirts, track bottoms and crop tops, a crucial hot-selling segment for this generation. The Edit has been priced keeping the audience in mind with an effective range of 8 to 60 pounds.
This fashion collaboration is the fifth of its kind for the label, which has previously partnered with super influencers like Charli XCX and Stella Hudgens.
To promote the new collection, the brand has also shot an entire campaign at an indoor location in Los Angeles, which was styled by celebrity image-maker Law Roach. The brand is also planning to throw a 90s style celebratory event to demarcate the launch.
