In addition to this, VICUNHA will also be exhibiting at the first ever edition of ‘DenimsandJeans.com Vietnam’ from 16th to 17th June 2016 – in the country which is home to around 4,000 textile factories employing approximately 2.5 million people. To go by the statistics, Vietnam’s textile and clothing exports have increased by 19 per cent when compared to 2013; moreover, denim from Vietnam is a growing segment on the clothing market and holds considerable growth potential for the coming years, which will prove fruitful for denim manufacturers like VICUNHA.
Recently, VICUNHA took part at the 5th edition of ‘DenimsandJeans.com Bangladesh’ and ‘Denim Expo Bangladesh 2016’ in the months of March and April, respectively. The manufacturer seemed satisfied with both the fairs. “We’ve been observing the development of ‘Denim Expo Bangladesh’ since it was launched in November 2014. In recognition of the importance of the market and also to strengthen it within the region, we have been focusing on our presence in the show, where we’ll be showing our spring/summer 2017 collection. What really stands out is the extremely good organisation and professionalism of the event. At our well-positioned booth, we were able to welcome a large number of international buyers on both days of the tradeshow, which has a very strong European influence,” averred Thomas Dislich, Managing Director of VICUNHA TEXTIL for Europa and Asia, adding, “The general mood has shown that denim is very strongly positioned and that Bangladesh, as a location for industry and trade, will no doubt continue to gain in importance. This includes the planning of investments and increases in capacity.”

Thomas is also of the view that the European market is showing great potential with a particularly high quality of visitors from France, Germany, Italy, Great Britain, Spain and Poland at the fairs. And by participating at the shows in European region, the company is giving the customers there an opportunity to have a glimpse of the current and future market trends.
