The Tranoï trade event will return to Paris during the next womenswear fashion week, after its menswear version in mid-January at the Gaîté Lyrique venue. The Tranoï womenswear exhibition will take place from 29th February to 3rd March, 2024 at Palais Brongniart, 16 place de de la Bourse, Paris.
Tranoï, Paris’ biggest fashion trade exhibition, will hold its next session alongside Paris Fashion Week Women. The great majority of its 180 exhibitors will be from outside of France, reaffirming the event’s attractiveness to international labels. They will show buyers their ready-to-wear and accessories collections for the Fall/Winter 2024-25 season.
Tranoï will include non-French designer collectives, including Canex, which will showcase African fashion design with 20 exhibitors. Among them are South African designers Rich Mnisi and David Tlale, Nigerian slow-fashion brand Abiola Olusola, whose designs are made in Lagos, and Ivory Coast label Kente Gentlemen, which has tailored goods embellished with ethnic themes.
KFashion82, the B2B marketplace created by the Shinsegae department store chain will represent five growing South Korean labels: Cahiers, which will celebrate its 10th anniversary this year and exhibits at Seoul Fashion Week; Daily Mirror, with its de-structured wardrobe; the label by designer Hannah Shin, a major lover of cutting-edge technology; and the genderless label Lie, by Creative Lee Chung Chung is the director, and Tripleroot is a label known for its romantic flair.
This edition will be truly open to the world, with labels from the UK, such as the brand by artist Simeon Farrar. The show will feature a directional selection of 15 labels from France, including Parisian brand Possery which was part of the womenswear pre-fall curation at Tranoï’s January session; techno-couture designer Armine Ohanyan; Chambaret, a label specialised in jackets and coats made with upcycled fibers; Sunday Life, whose collections blend party and casual wear, founded in Paris by Chinese journalist Pei Chen; and Incxnnue, which produces.
