International e-conference on Textiles for Advanced Technologies ‘TextileTech-2022’ is kicking off on Saturday. The three-day long event has been scheduled to discuss plenty of issues of the textile and apparel indsutry. Senior academicians from India’s prestigious institutes like NIFT, IIT, NITRA, Bannari Amman Institute of Technology will discuss on various topics.
Rajendrakumar Anayath- Vice Chancellor, Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Murthal will be the the Chief Guest of the inauguration session.
Experts from overseas like Taylor’s University, Shijiazhuang, China; Franziska Häfeli of Rieter; Parikshit Goswami, (University of Huddersfield, UK) etc., will also address the event.
Organised by The Textile Association of India (TAI), Delhi, the event has the objective to have more thrust on research related to the textile industry.
Vikas Chachra (Conference President) told Apparel Resources, “The event is covering nearly all aspects of the textile industry – what are the new innovations and what more need to be done so that not only industry but end users also get maximum benefits from textile-related research.”
The event will also have a discussion on topics like Sustainable Garment Technical Practices, Smart Garments and Clothing in Metaverse besides panel discussion on activewear.
