“Textile mills on an average spend 2.5 to 3 per cent of their annual turnover on spares and accessories and also plough back 4 to 6 per cent of their annual turnover on modernization. TEXFAIR 2016 would be an ideal platform for these mills to zero in their requirements, meet all the suppliers under one roof, plan their investments, cut costs, and improve the quality of the products they manufacture, especially when almost four million spindles are being added every year in the country,” avers M Senthilkumar, Chairman, SIMA appealing the textile mills to visit the exhibition and derive maximum benefits.
The event will also feature seminars on “Value Addition Opportunities In Weaving”, “A Right Choice For Value Addition and Diversification – Technical Textiles”, “Improving Energy Efficiency & Productivity in Textile Mills”, “Condition Monitoring Applied in Textile Mills”, “Enhancing Spinning Mills Profitability by Value Addition Yarn”, and “Benefits of Structured Water for Textile Industry”.
