STOLL, flat knitting machine leader, announces its collaboration with The Woolmark Company!
Recently, STOLL organised an exclusive webinar for the 2020 International Woolmark Prize (IWP) finalists to showcase the company’s latest technological innovations, digital design tool, ADF Technology.
Also, the company presented the use of different kinds of wools in creating the STOLL’s collection.
The event also awarded the fashion talent from around the world for their work created using Merino wool. The finalists for the competition included A-Cold-Wall, BLINDNESS, Bode, Botter, Feng Chen Wang, GmbH, Ludovic De Saint Sernin, Matthew Adams Dolan, Namacheko and Richard Malone.
Moreover, the partnership will also introduce digital learning facilities for streamlining the global textile supply chain.
For this, The Woolmark Learning Centre has been developed to educate the student in the field of textile, agriculture, science and textile engineering including designers, brands and retailers of yarn textile and garment. The industry leaders from around the globe educate about the wool supply chain promoting better growth of the field.
Scheduled to be launched in Spring 2020, STOLL will support the programme through images from various stitch construction and items of clothing from the STOLL archive for the Knitwear Design and Make Module.
Furthermore, STOLL has also backed The Wool Lab Vision that aims to support the textile, fashion and lifestyle industry. The Lab Vision dedicated to Spring/Summer 2021 would provide a platform for groundbreaking innovations using wool fabrics and yarns. “Stoll is very proud about the collaboration with The Woolmark Company and is looking forward to further exciting and successful projects in future,” said company.
