Shima Seiki Italia S.p.A. has announced to hold a private show on December 12 and 13 at its Carpi, Italy office. The show will feature the company’s latest computerized flat knitting technology.
The visitors will also be able to have a glimpse of the machines that Shima Seiki will display at the upcoming technology shows such as ISPO, Pitti Filati and Première Vision.
One amongst various offerings will be the Shima Seiki’s best-selling MACH2XS series WHOLEGARMENT knitting machine. The machine features SlideNeedles which are mounted on four needlebeds and moveable sinker system.
The compact SWG-N2 series WHOLEGARMENT knitting machine will also be up on display during the show. The machine is suitable for industrial textiles.
SRY and SVR-SP machines will also be highlighted which are said to produce high-precision hybrid knitwear with woven textures.
Furthermore, demonstrations will be performed on SDS-ONE APEX3 3D design system at the show which is at the core of the company’s ‘Total Fashion System’ concept. The APEX3 model eases the workflow throughout the knit supply chain by integrating all the stages.
“APEX3 is a pioneer solution in minimising the need for a physical sample with its Virtual Sampling feature. This feature further reduces time consumption and material cost. It prevents leftover stock, therefore, contributes in a sustainable fashion,” claims Shima Seiki.
