Japan-based Shima Seiki, a leading flat knitting machinery manufacturer, will exhibit at the 29th edition of International Trade Fair and Conference on Visual Communication – Viscom Italia 2017.
The exhibition will take place from October 12 to 14 in Milan, Italy. Shima Seiki is collaborating with its Italian distributor Fenix Digital Group Srl for the show.
The company will showcase its latest digital flatbed inkjet D2G printing technology SIP-160F3 at the 3-day event. The machine allows full-colour printing on different kinds of fabrics.
“Reactive dyes, pigment inks and acid dyes can be used for printing applications but the newer addition is its capability to print using white pigment,” claims Shima Seiki.
The printer is also said to allow printing in 3D textures which can be achieved by adjusting printing head height as per its substrate thickness.
Shima Seiki will also display the latest version of its SDS-ONE APEX3 3D design system Viscom Italia 2017. A new colour management system has now been incorporated in APEX3 which provides accurate and precise print simulations before printing on the SIP-160F3 printer.
Additionally, the ‘Total Fashion System’ concept of APEX3 is another feature to be looked for during the exhibition. The system is designed to support the apparel supply chain with its virtual sampling feature.
Shima Seiki can be visited at Booth No. B-10 at the fair.
