In light of the global ramifications observed across the world owing to novel coronavirus, international textile sourcing event Première Vision “has taken a firm position to making a strong strategic commitment to a severely impacted fashion industry.”
In an expression of solidarity with its exhibitors and brands, the Group has undertaken and launched a series of measures to actively support and assist the fashion and textile sector in preparation for the resumption of business operations.
To start with, The Première Vision Paris Autumn Winter 2021-22 event scheduled to take place from 15 to 17 September at the Parc des Expositions de Paris Nord Villepinte, will additionally be integrating interested Denim Première Vision exhibitors as well as the Blossom Première Vision exhibitors.
Initially slated for 10-11 June in Milan, Denim Première Vision has been postponed to November in Berlin. The universal denim sourcing platform will return to Milan next year with an edition scheduled for 26-27 May 2021.
Blossom Première Vision, originally scheduled to take place on 1 and 2 July in Paris, will see its exhibitors unveil their creative materials for pre-collections – including fabrics, leathers, and accessories – alongside their collections targeting fashion houses’ main collections.
Secondly, in order to assist its exhibitors in this time of uncertainty, Première Vision has revised the registration and cancellation conditions for its Paris show.
The registration timetable has been made more flexible and has also been extended, thus giving exhibitors more time to adapt to this evolving situation.
In case the event has to be cancelled due to force majeure, Première Vision will reimburse the exhibitors’ registration fee. Furthermore, visitors will be able to register free of charge until 31 August, and will enjoy free access to the exclusive show and its seminars.
Third, as of mid-March, the event has lifted fees for its B2B e-commerce Première Vision Marketplace. The exclusive platform, which features an array of products from Première Vision Paris and Première Vision Denim exhibitors, is now available to manufacturers at no additional cost, with zero product limits and no set time commitment.
Exhibitors are free to include their entire collection on their e-shop, showcase and promote their offer to customers, and further develop their online business.
With the help of special Webcasts, the company has been able to continue providing seasonal fashion inspirations and information for the upcoming Autumn/Winter 2021-22 season, which has been translated into 8 languages to assist fashion manufacturers in creating materials for the next show.
Additional events under the company’s name have been postponed to later dates as follows: Made in France Première Vision show has been postponed to 1-2 September 2020 at the Carreau du Temple in Paris; its American show – Première Vision New York, will now take place from 30 September to 1 October 2020, and Première Vision Sport, which was to be held on 29 and 30 July, will now take place on 19 and 20 August at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, alongside The Material Show – US trade show specialised in footwear for high-performance sport.
