Coronavirus crisis just doesn’t seem to be receding and events keep getting cancelled!
The New Zealand Fashion Week (NZFW), which was scheduled to be held in August this year, has now been put on hold. And add to it, even the 20th year celebrations of NZFW has been postponed for some time now.
The organisers haven’t announced any fresh dates; however, a new date is being worked upon, which matches all the partners.
Substantiating on the same, Dame Pieter Stewart, Founder, New Zealand Fashion Week, said “We took this decision after consulting New Zealand fashion designers, and considering recent public health developments, including the upcoming four-week lockdown.”
NZFW has assured all local designers that despite the show being cancelled due to Coronavirus, they will continue to support them and their work and expect to see all of them in their top form whenever the event happens again.
