ZDHC South Asia Region will organise its third Regional Conference on 29 April 2022 at Mumbai. This year, the theme is Moving together to create a better planet.
Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) is a multi-stakeholder organisation comprising over 170 contributors from across the industry including brands, suppliers, chemical suppliers and solution providers.
The conference will showcase how the ZDHC Roadmap to Zero Programme ensuresco-existence of textile & leather production activities and a safer planet.
Building ZDHC Programme Excellence, Scaling ZDHC adoption and accelerating impact, Apparel alliance collaboration – the key to the future, ZDHC engagement model; Brand journeys with ZDHC,Role of stakeholders in accelerating ZDHC, Innovations in sustainable chemistry, machinery (waterless dyeing technology), process optimization & resource efficiency and waste water treatment technologies are few of the topics to be discussed during the event.
In a statement, ZDHC informed that stakeholders across the textile and leather value chain like brands, manufacturers, chemical formulators, solution providers, industry associations and academia are expected to attend this conference, where industry experts and peers will speak and debate on how we can collaborate and join forces to create a better planet through best practices and innovations in sustainable chemical management.
Dipali Goenka, CEO &Joint MD, Welspun India, will be the keynote speaker of the conference. The event will be held in-person and will also be streamed live.
