Switzerland-based Mouvent, a digital printing company, is all set to mark its presence at Gartex Expo. The fair will take place in New Delhi from 18 to 20 August.
Mouvent will demonstrate its TX801 digital textile printer during the 3-day exhibition. There will be two daily live demos of the printer at the Mouvent booth.
TX801 is an 8-colour multi-pass printer that produces high print quality of up to 2,000 DPI optical resolution with the help of MouventTM Cluster Technology.
Despite being a scanning type of machine, TX801 completes about 50 per cent of the print jobs in a single pass. For this to achieve, the printer combines speed, precision, and scalability and deploys up to 16 g/sqm of ink in a single pass.
The TX801 printer can print at a speed of 200 square metres per hour.
Furthermore, the machine can print on knitted, woven, and non-woven textiles having a width of 182 cm and roll diameters of up to 40 cm.
According to Mouvent, it is the first printer to be launched in India which has a full product pipeline of digital printers to be introduced in the months ahead.
The company has partnered with Fortuna Colours & Prints LLP as its Indian distributor. Vinod Krishnamurthy, one of the co-founders of Fortuna Colours & Prints LLP, started digital printing on textiles in 1998.
Commenting upon the collaboration, Vinod says, “It is a privilege to be partnering with Mouvent and we are very excited to help bring the TX801 to customers in India. The Indian textile market is so varied and interesting – with everything ranging from exclusive high-quality textiles to huge-scale mass production – and the solutions that Mouvent has are very well suited to this market.”
The Mouvent Team can be visited in Pragati Maidan at booth C7 in Hall 11 during Gartex Expo 2018.
