IMA – the Italian cutting room specialist – is now equipping its machines with Mitsubishi parts. With these parts, the machine is now capable of establishing digital communication between its sensors and other components which is 200 times sharper than the analogue communication and thus IMA machines are faster and more accurate, shares Guna, MD, IMASIA, CAD/CAM SERVICES at the GTE 2016 fair. IMA machines today enjoy installations across the export and domestic Indian market. Another key feature which makes the IMA cutters stand out is the fact that these machines can be adjusted to suit all kinds of production volumes. “Whether the manufacturers want to cater to more volume or less volume than before, all they need to do is change a few parts and the machine is ready to suit their business needs,” adds Guna.
