The governing body of haute couture shows in Paris, The Federation de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, has announced that the A/W 2020 Haute Couture fashion shows will be showcased digitally.
The event is scheduled from 6 to 8 July and while the federation had earlier announced that the show would be cancelled, the recent announcement suggests that the future shows might also be held on digital platform.
This also places the timing of these fashion weeks into the right slots as the menswear season is suggested to take place in June.
The fashion houses will upload a series of videos or a single long-form video that will be uploaded on the platform along with it being sent across prominent international media agencies.
Other notable fashion weeks are also set to showcase digitally as London Fashion Week will debut from 12 to 15 June and Milan Fashion Week from 14 to 17 July.
