CII – Avantha Centre for Competitiveness for SMEs, an India-based consultancy, is organizing a two-day Training Programme on ‘Root Cause Analysis and Advanced Problem Solving Tool’ on 16th – 17th May 2017 in Chennai, India.
The training programme will cover advanced problem solving tools such as relations diagram, affinity diagram, and more.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA) is a problem-solving method aimed at identifying the root causes of problems. It is believed that problems are best solved by attempting to correct or eliminate root causes, as opposed to merely addressing the immediately obvious symptoms. By directing corrective measures at root causes, likelihood of problem recurrence will be minimized. A tool of continuous improvement, RCA is an iterative process.

Usually, the analysis is done after an incident has occurred. By gaining expertise in RCA, it is able to forecast the possibility of an incident even before it could occur.
It may be mentioned here that the training programme should be attended by Operation/Production Managers, Production Heads, Engineers and Industrial Engineers.
