Organized by Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) Bangladesh Apparel & Safety Exposition in Chittagong will take place from 6th to 8th August. During the expo there will be seminars also focusing on Branding Bangladesh, Financing Apparel Growth, Capacity Building of Port, Customs, Power & Infrastructure to reach US $ 50 billion mark by 2021, Training & Developing Skills for Strong, Sustainable & Balanced Growth, etc.
The exhibition is a nodal point for networking and to see latest product regarding safety in apparel factories. Apart from that famous computerized knitting machine manufacturer Shima Seiki is also participating at the event and will display its SSR series computerized flat knitting machine in 14G for fine gauge applications. Developed as a new industry standard for computerized shaped knitting, SSR112 features high productivity with a maximum knitting speed of 1.2 metres per second, as well as with the R2CARRIAGE System that achieves quicker carriage returns.
