Alvanon recently organised its first-ever virtual 3D Tech Festival to encourage and support the industry leaders in their digital transformation journey.
The event was held from 14 to 17 September 2020 in collaboration with MOTIF – fashion industry’s first dedicated global e-learning platform.
The event was a mix of talks and case studies from some of the leading veterans of the fashion industry who are helping companies in their digital transformation journey.
The highlight of the event was the latest solutions offered by the leading 3D companies like Alvanon, Browzwear, Centric Software, CLO, FNX, Gerber Technology, Optitex, Shima Seiki and TG3D Studio.
The digital event could manage to get around 5,000+ guests including 60 high-level speakers, who spoke about 3D designs, manufacturing, supply chain and careers.
The talks were mostly on topics ranging from building 3D libraries and different 3D scalability for various uses including the digital runways in 3D.
The 3D enthusiasts were called for creating the agenda and organising the event across multiple zones across the world. The leaders of the 3D fashion world included Janice Wang, CEO, Alvanon; Jason Wang, COO, Alvanon; Dominic Sluiter, Head of Stitch (a PVH company); Darcy Reno, Co-founder and CEO, FNX; Cameron-James Wilson, CEO and Creative Director, The Digitals; Joshua Young, Director, digital product creation at VF Corporation; Mao Lin Liao, Founder and CEO at Reblika; Darren Jacobs, Managing Director at Carmel Clothing; Safir Bellali, Senior Director/advanced digital creation at VF Corporation; Catherine Cole, CEO, MOTIF and many more were amongst the speakers.
Furthermore, MOTIF rolled out the 3D Fashion Tech Community for supporting the event with discussions on topic relating to 3D digitisation in design and product development.
