The 8th Asian Textile Conference (ATEXCON) scheduled to be held on 22nd -23rd September 2014 at Hotel Westin, Mumbai, India will be inaugurated by Textile Minister, Santosh Kumar Gangwar. The US Foreign Commercial Service is the supporter of the 8th ATEXCON. The event will be addressed by eminent industrialists and experts of the industry around the world. The conference will come up as a forum which deliberates on the emerging apparel and textile industries in Asia and the factors which affect the future competitiveness and complementarities in the region. The highlights shall be the overview, competition, collaboration and recent progress of Asian textile industry. Highly efficient and energy saving textile technologies will be featured.
