Textiles and garments featured on the 20 sector-list that Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Minister of State for Commerce & Industry focused on at the recently held 2nd India CLMV (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam) Business Conclave. Organized by Confederation of Indian Industry, the Conclave was aimed at creating and providing a platform for decision makers from CLMV countries to meet, at one place with a range of Indian companies. The Minister discussed the trilateral highway connecting India, Myanmar and Thailand emphasizing on the need of robust physical connectivity through road, rail and sea links to leverage the opportunities created by the India-ASEAN FTA.
