Picanol inaugurates new training center along with fresh test and shipping area in Ypres. This investment has been done to appear more challenging in the competitive market via increasing its production capacity and quality improvement. The new training center measures around 600 sq. m. An investment plan of € 17.5 million in Ieper was approved last year. The plan includes opening up of new training center, test and shipping area for weaving machines, along with the buying of quite a few production machines. Geert Bourgeois, Minister-President of the Government of Flanders was also present at the time of inauguration.
