TK Maxx, the off-price retailer owned by TJX is entering into Netherlands with two stores, which makes Netherlands the sixth European country this year which has come onto the growth map of TK Maxx.
TK Maxx already has more than 400 stores across the UK, Ireland, Germany, Poland and Austria. These two openings will create around 100 new jobs in Holland and will offer men’s and women’s fashion, lingerie, accessories homewares, soft furnishings and pet accessories.
Deborah Dolce, Group Brand and Marketing Director said, “The Dutch are smart shoppers with a keen eye for quality and love for a bargain so we think that they will enjoy shopping ourspecial combination of fashion, brands, quality and value. The experience and layout are quite different from a traditional store. When visiting TK Maxx, it’s time to cast the traditional shopping rule book aside and visit with an open mind. Shoppers navigate by department, category and size and everything is gathered under one roof. We are well prepared and very excited about our future here.”
