At a recent seminar organized by SNV Netherlands Development Organisation in Bangladesh, SNV Bangladesh’s project on providing strategies for the apparel factories to address the operators, especially women, reproductive health issues. SNV Netherlands, a development organisation with financial aid from the Netherlands government, is trying to improve Bangladesh’s apparel factory operators’ reproductive health services. The seminar echoed the perspective that the reproductive health and rights of apparel factory workforce is yet to be addressed properly in order to boost their productivity.
