Underlining that UK would work with new and existing investors to ensure that they benefit from and add benefit to the success of Bangladesh’s economy, Robert Chatterton Dickson, who is the British High Commissioner to Bangladesh, maintained his country will provide duty-, quota-free access to Bangladesh to the UK market for three years post LDC graduation.
Media reports maintained this adding the British High Commissioner to Bangladesh came up with the observations taking part in the ‘DCAB Talk,’ organised by the Diplomatic Correspondent Association of Bangladesh (DCAB) recently.
“…we have also decided to continue the duty-, quota-free access to the UK market for three years after graduation, to 2029,” reportedly, maintained Robert Chatterton Dickson while underlining that graduation is a milestone and not a finishing line.
We will continue to work with Bangladesh to achieve a smooth and successful graduation, claimed further the British High Commissioner to Bangladesh.
