The Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) has formed a new division for suppliers of fabrics and fabric products to the US military with a military focus, offering opportunities to both manufacturers and suppliers of gear, uniforms, aid products, and other personal and on-site military equipment. There are currently 32 division members with MMI Textiles, EHMKE Manufacturing, Weckworth Manufacturing, Outdoor Venture, Tape Craft Corp, Central Michigan University, First State Manufacturing and BondCote Corp as members of advisory board. The IFAI said, “New educational programming, legislative and trade advocacy, networking opportunities and information sharing will be implemented for the division which will aim to create a separate military fabric and textile event to gather members of the industry.”
