Lalit Thukral, President, Noida Apparel Export Cluster (NAEC), told Apparel Resources that if film city is established in Greater Noida, it will benefit the apparel manufacturing industry of Delhi-NCR and especially Noida.
“Currently a big chunk of garments for the Indian film industry are being produced in Noida and if film city comes to City of Apparels, naturally we will have more opportunities as it will increase the market for us. Along with domestic industry, exporters will also be benefitted as the majority of exporters are making garments for the domestic market,” he said.
There are many fashion and design colleges in Delhi-NCR and students of these institutes will get more opportunity in fashion and overall designing.
It is also pertinent to mention here that work for Apparel Park in Greater Noida is also in full swing as so far around 55 companies have got 77.15 acres land here.
