Bangladesh, on the other hand, marked double-digit growth (10.81%) in volume-wise t-shirt exports and shipped 117.74 million kg worth of t-shirts to EU. However, Bangladesh too plunged in value-terms as it posted 1.95 per cent drop to export t-shirts worth € 1.23 billion.
Vietnam was the only country among Asian manufacturing powerhouses which registered growth in both volume and value of t-shirt export to EU.
