
The Netherlands is looking at enhancing bilateral trade and utilising investment opportunities in Bangladesh as the country’s economy continues to grow encouragingly.
In keeping with this objective, a 10-member delegation led by the Deputy Director General for International Cooperation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Birgitta Tazelaar, will visit Bangladesh from 28 to 31 August, as per reports.
The Dutch delegation will, reportedly, focus all aspects of Netherland’s policies for Bangladesh while also interacting with the private sector partners, Government actors and the civil society, to take a look into different private sector initiatives and development projects.
It may be mentioned here, the Netherlands has been contributing to sustainable development in areas such as readymade garments along with agriculture, water, women empowerment, etc., while strengthening the civil society in Bangladesh.
